Sohail Zindani.
Leadership architect. Culture builder. Speaker. Author. Entrepreneur. And a man who believes the goal is not merely success — but to remain deeply alive while pursuing it.
Growing Up.
I grew up in Hyderabad — in a home that did not have excess, but had values, warmth, and the quiet ambition that education could change a family's future.
School was interesting for me. I was that child every teacher knew. Naughty enough to constantly appear near trouble, but somehow charming enough to escape punishment with a smile. I learned very early that connection moves people faster than authority ever can.
A small city. Big dreams. A naturally introverted personality trying to understand people, ambition, belonging, and identity.
Connection moves people faster than authority ever can.
Getting Serious with Life.
Then came Karachi. I arrived in my 20s with dreams, uncertainty, and almost no social circle. IoBM became more than a university — it became my first real ecosystem of friendships, conversations, confidence, and exposure.
Being an introvert, I successfully ran away from two internships. The university eventually made them mandatory. That accidental push changed my life.
I landed at Aga Khan University Hospital — and somewhere between training rooms and human conversations, I discovered: Learning changes people. Helping people grow felt meaningful. What started as a profession slowly became a calling.
Learning Minds —
A Labor of Love.
For nearly 12 years, Learning Minds was not just a business — it was a labor of love. Shama and I (my much better half) started Learning Minds and stood by each other when giving up seemed like the easy option.
A company shaped through relationships, reputation, word of mouth, relentless delivery, and a stubborn belief that corporate learning in Pakistan could be thoughtful, world-class, human, and transformative.
Doing More with Life.
Then came entrepreneurship in its truest form. Not the LinkedIn version. The real one — where you start things with excitement, fail joyfully, and somehow still wake up excited about the next idea.
